Underbed truck boxes mount beneath the truck bed frame, using space that would otherwise go completely unused. Because they install under the bed rather than in it, underbed boxes add secure, lockable storage without taking up a single inch of cargo space. We carry underbed boxes from trusted brands built for long-term outdoor use on work trucks.
Use the Space Under Your Truck
The space between the truck bed floor and the frame rails is one of the most overlooked storage opportunities on a work truck. Underbed boxes mount directly to the truck frame or underside of the bed and are accessed through a drop-down or side-hinged door from outside the truck putting tools within reach from the side without opening the tailgate or reaching into the bed.
Underbed boxes are popular with service technicians, electricians, plumbers, and HVAC techs who need to carry a broad kit while also keeping the full truck bed available for equipment, ladders, and materials. Because the box sits below and out of sight, it's also less visible to potential theft than an exposed bed-mounted box.
Lockable and Built for the Elements
Underbed boxes are built to handle what goes on under a truck which is constantly exposed to road spray, debris, vibration, and weather. Better Built and WeatherGuard build their underbed boxes from heavy-duty aluminum and steel with weather-sealed doors and locking mechanisms that hold up under those conditions. Corrosion-resistant finishes protect the exterior for the long term.
Installation is more involved than a rail-mounted box, underbed boxes are typically bolted to the truck frame or bed support structure, and a mounting kit is usually included.
